Frequently Asked Questions

  • Our electrician carries a variety of alternate retrofit kits on the truck and can usually recommend an alternative solution. As long as the fixture is not an emergency backup, the alternate option is typically around the same price range. If the fixture requires a different style or component, our electrician will explain the options and confirm pricing before proceeding.

  • If your fixture includes an emergency backup battery, our electrician will evaluate its condition. When the battery is functional, we can typically install an alternate retrofit kit that works with the existing emergency system. If the battery backup is the reason the fixture isn’t working, our electrician will recommend replacing the battery backup along with a compatible LED kit to restore full operation.

  • If our electrician arrives and doesn’t have the necessary parts on the truck, we usually do not add another service charge when returning to complete the work. In rare cases—such as when the project is located far outside our standard service area or requires additional repair work—we may provide a quote for any extra labor or travel time required.
